On Monday, the 28th of November, 2016, a meeting was held in the ministry hall between the minister of higher education and scientific research KRG, Dr. Yusuf Goran, and the consul of South Korea in Kurdistan region, Mr. Park Yung Kio, in the presence of Dr. Amanj Saed, advisor of the minister of higher education and scientific research KRG, and Dr. Khatab Shikhany, general director of the departments of Business and Management.
At the beginning, Dr. Goran welcomed the consul and talked about the ministry's strategy and how the ministry is giving a special importance to education and professional studies. In addition, Dr. Goran had pointed out, earlier in his statement, the long and unique history of South Korea in professional studies, its rich experiences and the availability of very good universities. Accordingly, he wished them excellence in their work and hoped that Kurdistan region could take advantage of South Korea's rich experiences and apply them in the region. .
